Welcome to our website.

The West of England is a thriving branch of the Institute with over 265 members in the West of England area with attendance at technical evenings averaging around 35-40. On four occasions we have been awarded the President's Trophy demonstrating the contribution the branch makes in promoting the industry and the science of quarrying.

19th January 2009 - Annual General Meeting

The annual general meeting of the WoE branch was held on Monday 19 January 2009 at the Holiday Inn, Filton.

The well-attended meeting heard outgoing Chairman Andrew Shakeshaft give a concise report on the branch activities and formally thank the committee and members for their support throughout his term of office.
