Membership Liaison

Position Vacant.

The objectives of the role are:

  • To keep an up to date list of those members who are involved with training, via the Institute's secretary at Nottingham.
  • To keep students advised of local branch events.
  • The branch supports the Officer to attend such meetings and conferences as appropriate, subject to employer agreement, so that the proceedings can be fed back to the students.
  • The Officer will offer support to the student and new members where appropriate may assist in linking the student with other members to help with their studies in a mentoring role.

If you need any help or support in your studies or other quarry courses you will be able to make contact and through the network of members we may be able to find some to assist as a mentor.

If you are willing to act as a mentor to support those still undergoing training in the industry please pass your details to one of the branch officers, with details of the particular area of support you can offer.
